Hey! I’m Ashlin and I am your main photographer for Lily Kay!
A bit about my work..
With over 15 years of professional photography experience, I fell in love with photographing weddings and portraits. My favorite part would have to be capturing the “in between” moments on a wedding day that make you laugh, cry, and replay the day all over again. Portraits are super fun as well. You never really know what will happen, especially with littles! I am honored to have some of my work featured in model magazines and also have a few award winning images in credited competitions.

Besides being a photographer, I am a proud and exhausted mom of two intelligent, beautiful, and VERY energetic ladies. Now that they are older and only one lives with me, we spend our time hanging out together playing video games, watching movies, traveling for her Queenly duties, and crafting. When I’m not with my girl, I play BINGO and video games, go to dinner with my friends, date nights with my love, and enjoying a bit of quiet time in my PJs with a nice glass of chocolate milk and a good book. Thought I was going to say wine, didn't you? Ha! I’m also a lover of Star Wars and dad jokes so I’m sorry (not sorry) in advance for any dumb jokes I may say!
How did I get the name “Lily Kay”?
I had a previous photography business which was just under my own name. Due to personal reasons, I had to make one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make and that was to take a break from my love of photography. When I decided to start shooting again, I wanted to create a name that was special to me and that I would never have to worry about changing again. One thing that I knew would never change is my love for my children. They are amazing little humans and I wanted to honor them by combining parts of their names. When I first asked them what they thought of “Lily Kay Photography”, they were so excited and proud! I immediately knew that it was the right decision and that’s where the name was born!
